Terms of service

The rules of using s4m — acceptable use, accounts, billing, and the free-proxy-list disclaimer.

Acceptable use

Use s4m lawfully. Don't use it for illegal activity, to attack or gain unauthorised access to third-party systems, to send spam, or to harm others. You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. Abuse may result in suspension without refund.

Your account

Keep your credentials and configs private — you're responsible for activity under your account. One identity method (email or anonymous token) is required. Don't share paid access in ways that circumvent plan limits; resellers have a dedicated plan for provisioning sub-users.

Plans and billing

VPN plans are a flat monthly rate on paid tiers; proxy usage is metered (pay-as-you-go). Usage and device limits are enforced per your plan. Nothing locks you in — stop renewing whenever you like. Payments are processed by our billing partner; card and crypto are accepted.

The free proxy list

The free proxy list is a directory of public, third-party proxies that we harvest and continuously check for convenience. We do not operate them, don't control them, and can't guarantee their safety, uptime or honesty. Use them at your own risk and never send sensitive traffic through them. For anything real, use our authenticated private proxies or VPN.

Service availability

We aim for high availability and publish live health on our status page, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, s4m isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, for anything arising from your use of third-party proxies from the free list, or for misuse of the service. If a paid plan isn't right for you, simply stop renewing — nothing locks you in.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Written to be clear and honest, not to bury you in fine print.
