Test whether a proxy is alive, fast and anonymous — right here, then skip the dead ones.
Check a proxy now
Paste a proxy — we connect through it to a fixed IP-echo and report back.
What a good check verifies
Alive & latency
Does it connect, and how fast? Measure round-trip to a known endpoint.
Anonymity level
Elite (no leak), anonymous (proxy disclosed) or transparent (your IP leaks).
Country & HTTPS
Where does it exit, and can it tunnel HTTPS?
Skip the checking — use a live list
Our free proxy list is checked continuously and shows latency, uptime, anonymity and last-checked time for thousands of public proxies. Filter by country and protocol, and grab only the ones that actually work.
Questions, answered
How can I check a proxy manually?
Route a request through it with curl (curl -x host:port https://api.ipify.org) and confirm the returned IP is the proxy's, not yours.
