Continuously. Our validator connects through each proxy to an echo endpoint every few minutes and drops the ones that fail, so the speed, uptime and “checked” times reflect recent reality — not a stale dump.
Are free public proxies safe to use?
Treat them as disposable. They're run by unknown third parties and can be slow, log your traffic, or vanish at any moment. Never send passwords or sensitive data through them. For anything real, use authenticated private proxies or a VPN.
How do I use a proxy from this list?
Copy its IP:port, set it in your browser or tool (for example curl -x http://IP:PORT https://api.ipify.org), and confirm the returned IP is the proxy's, not yours. Pick an “elite” entry to minimise IP leakage, and press ⟳ to check it's alive first.
