Browser Fingerprint
A browser fingerprint is an identifier built from many attributes of your browser and device that together can single you out without any cookies.
In plain terms
A browser fingerprint identifies a visitor by combining dozens of attributes the browser exposes — User-Agent, screen size, timezone, language, installed fonts, graphics via canvas and WebGL, audio characteristics and more. No single value is unique, but the combination often is, which lets sites recognise you across visits without cookies. It works at the application layer, so it is a very different signal from your IP address or your TLS fingerprint, and it persists even if you clear cookies or change networks.
How it works with s4m
Because a fingerprint is a bundle of signals, changing one attribute rarely helps; the reliable approaches are to blend in with a common configuration or to fully isolate profiles with an anti-detect browser. Crucially, the fingerprint is a browser-layer property, so a proxy or the VPN changes your IP but not your fingerprint — the two are independent controls that should agree with each other. For consistency, make sure your IP's location lines up with the timezone and language your browser reports, since a contradiction between them is itself a strong signal.

Questions, answered
Does changing my IP change my browser fingerprint?
No. A proxy or VPN changes your network address, but the browser fingerprint is built from browser and device attributes, so it stays the same. To alter it you must change those attributes — most reliably by isolating profiles in an anti-detect browser.
